Pasar Anom, originally was near Sumenep Grand Mosque. As the market was located in the central of the city and city shall be clean to obtain Adipura, then Pasar Anom is moved on suburban area.

A year ago, Pasar Anom was caught by fire, leaving some scars on some buildings.
